Our itinerary
Day 01 Penang Island – Cameron Highlands (Recommended hotel : Camerons Resort)
8am Complimentary pick up from Penang hotels and bonus stop at Orangutan Island (subject to availability). Cameron Highlands- a Hill Resort  with cool Temperatures and large tea plantations.  Catch a buggy ride @ plantation. Sip tea perched on an elevated tea café and catch a glimpse of the rolling greenery below. Photo shoots. Butterfly Farm – Secret paradise of live scorpions, spiders, stick insects, snakes, butterflies.  Vegetable market -the cool climate augurs well for Vegetables, fruits and flowers. Also visit Cactus Gardens and Strawberry Farm. Check in to hotel. Free and easy.

7pm Dinner is HOT POT – a very popular authentic meal that augurs well for the cool weather.  Bring sweaters as nights are cold. 

Day 02  Cameron Highlands – Taman Negara 1st Day  (Recommended hotel: Xcape resort)
7am Depart for Taman Negara  a 130 million years old  tropical rainforest with endangered tigers, elephants, tapirs, rhinoceros, sun bears … 14,000 Flowering plants, 300 Bird species…
On arrival at Kuala Tahan, Taman Negara,local lunch @ Floating Cafe.  Join Nature Guide  rapids shooting  by boat to an aborigine village to watch fire making and blowpipe demonstration. You can partake of the activities. The rainforest is their supermarket. Soon the villages are no more due to habitat loss and deforestation. Nature Guide leads you to a mesmerizing waterfalls for a cool dip – a therapeutic stress reliever.  Lunch at Floating Cafe. Check in to hotel. Free and easy

8pm Join Nature Guide for the Night Jungle walk to look for insects, scorpions, spiders, mouse deer even wild boars etc  foraging for food.  Return to hotel. Good Night !

Day 03 Taman Negara 2nd Day
8am Jungle trek with Nature Guide to the viewpoint to catch a glimpse of Malaysia’s highest mountain – Gunung Tahan @ 7175 feet (2187 meters) in height. Nature Guide will belt out facts and taboos of Taman Negara and the medicinal and poisonous plants, not forgetting the elusive aphrodisiacs.  Return to hotel Free and easy. 

8pm Night River Cruise. Join Nature Guide to look for mouse deers, panthers, wild boar etc come for their water intake. Enjoy the night ambience seated on a boat deep in a rainforest. A very rare encounter indeed !!!

Day 04 Taman Negara – Kuala Lumpur  (Recommended hotel: Traders at KLCC)
9am Depart for Kuala Lumpur enroute visit Elephant Sanctuary for petting and feeding. Sanctuary Guide to lead. Proceed to iconic Batu Caves and climb 272 steps into temple of Hindu Deity honored during festivals. Ladies to cover their knees and shoulders.  Then visit the colonial landmarks of British architecture buildings of Sultan Abdul Samad , Jamek Mosque, St Mary’s Cathedral, Old Railway Station and Nation al Mosque, colorful Little India and bustling Chinatown. Complimentary Banana Leaf Lunch. Check in to hotel. Free and easy.

5pm Depart for Kuala Selangor – home to the largest fireflies colony in the world. Meet adorable silver leaf monkeys and have a good time with them. Then adjourn to a riverside cafe for a sumptuous seafood dinner. Catch a boat to watch fireflies at their dazzling best indulging in a mating ritual. Fascinating indeed !!!. Return to hotel by 10 pm.
