Day 01 Kuala Lumpur – Cameron Highlands (Recommended hotel: Camerons Resort)
8am Depart for the Cameron Highlands –  a hill resort  with cool temperatures and large tea plantations.  Catch a buggy ride @ plantations and sip tea perched on an elevated tea café. Catch a glimpse of the rolling greenery below. Take a walk down the tea plants for photo shoots. Butterfly farm – secret paradise of live scorpions, spiders, stick insects, snakes, butterflies.  Vegetable market -The cool climate augurs well for vegetables, fruits and flowers. Check in to hotel. Free and easy.

7pm Dinner is HOT POT – an authentic local meal augurs well for the cool weather. Bring sweaters as the nights are cold.
Day 02 Cameron Highlands -Taman Negara 1st Day (Recommended hotel: Mutiara resort)
7am Depart for Taman Negara  a 130 million years old  tropical rainforest with endangered tigers, elephants, tapirs, rhinoceros, sun bears … 14,000 Flowering plants, 300 Bird species…On arrival at Kuala Tahan, complimentary local lunch @ Floating Cafe.  Join Nature Guide on a boat ride to an aborigine village for a fire making and blowpipe demonstration. Aborigines are naive people and the rainforest is their supermarket – soon no more due to deforestation and rehabilitation. At the rainforest waterfalls take a cool dip – a therapeutic stress reliever.  Check in to hotel. Free and easy. |
8pm Join Nature Guide for the  night jungle walk to look for mouse deer, snakes, spiders, scorpions, owls foraging for food. Watch nocturnal animals come for their salt lick . Return to hotel. Good nite. And the forest orchestra plays on.

Day 03 Taman Negara 2nd Day 
8am Jungle trek with Nature Guide to the viewpoint for a stunning view of Gunung Tahan – Malaysia’s highest mountain @ 7175 feet (2187) meters in height.  Nature Guide belts out facts and taboos of Taman Negara – on medicinal and poisonous plants not forgetting the elusive aphrodisiacs. Return to hotel. Free and easy.

8pm Night River Cruise with Guide. You may be lucky if you sight panthers, mouse deer, snakes, wild boat etc come for their water intake, but if you see a tiger we ain’t quite sure who is gonna be lucky !!! Enjoy the jungle ambience seated on a boat deep in a rainforest in pitch darkness. A very rare encounter indeed !!!
Day 04  Taman Negara – Perhentian/Redang Islands Jetty (approx. 5 hours drive time)
6am Early depart for the Islands. Our Guide will identify your boat and ensure all is well before saying goodbye to you. Please request for boatman’s mobile contact for easy communication. Have a swell holiday and be safe always.
