0700hrs After Breakfast at your hotel, depart for KUALA TAHAN, TAMAN NEGARA enroute bonus stop : BATU CAVES – Climb 272 steps into the temple of Hindu Deity who is honored during the Hindu festival of THAIPUSAM in January or February every year. His 140 feet Statue is magnificent. The journey continues and on arrival at Kuala Tahan activities will begin.
CANOPY WALKWAY at 530 meters in length is the longest in South East Asia and you will get a bird’s eye view of the World’s Oldest Tropical Rainforest. JUNGLE TREKKING TO THE TERESEK HILLS “ Trekking takes YOU closer to the different species of flora. The Experienced Nature Guide will belt out facts and fancies about the varied flora and fauna in Taman Negara. He will uncover the secrets of the Forest.
You may be LUCKY if you get to see the lesser animals like the flying fox, the Monkeys¦. But if you see a Tiger, we ain’t sure who is LUCKY?
1300hrs Lunch at the Floating Cafe. After a short breather, tour continues : RAPIDS SHOOTING is a thrill as you get a “chance” to get wet. The boatman will negotiate 7 sets of rapids and thrilling it is ! ABORIGINE (ORANG ASLI) VILLAGE VISIT The Batek tribe have been living environment-friendly lives . The Rainforest is their Supermarket where they get all their life’s necessities. They have things secret and things taboo. You will get an insight of their fire making skills and blowpipe hunting techniques. 1700hrs Return to Floating Cafe. Freshen up and depart for Kuala Lumpur, arriving approx. 2000hrs. End of Tour.

What to expect in the Nite Jungle Walk
The Nite Jungle Walk which is new item on our Day Tour and you may get to see some tropical and nocturnal animals, which are shy and hide. To watch them observation decks have been built near wildlife frequented salt licks (some man-made). The Nite walk is memorable as you will join the Nature guide to hunt for wildlife. Wildlife sighted thus far: Wild Boar. Mousedeer, Small snakes, spiders, scorpions, insects and etc. Please bring along torch light with extra batteries, rain coat, insect repellents.
1600hrs On return from the last activity of the Taman Negara Day Tour, check in to hotel to freshen up. (Room provided). Free at leisure.
1900hrs Local dinner at the Floating Cafe as the sun sets and the Nite Jungle walk begins with briefing. Silence to prevail and the Forest Orchestra plays.. Please keep a tag on the number of animals you have sighted for the nite to exchange notes. Please help Nature Guide in locating the animals.
2100hrs Freshen up and depart for Kuala Lumpur arriving approx. 0200hrs (2 am). Please note the time and make your booking.
