Our itinerary

Day 01 (L D H ) KUALA LUIMPUR – TAMAN NEGARA ( Drive time 4 hours)
0700hrs  After breakfast depart for Taman Negara. On arrival at Kuala Tahan, take a walk on the Canopy Walkway and catch a bird’s eye view of the world’s oldest rainforest. Canopy walkway closed Thursdays to give the trees a rest. Please make your bookings accordingly. Catch a boat for rapids shooting – a thriller as the boatman negotiates 7 sets of rapids and you will get a “chance” to get wet. Visit an aborigine village to learn their fire making skills and blowpipe hunting techniques. 

The boat then takes us to a trekking point leading to the mesmerizing Rainforest Waterfalls for a cool dip.  The trekking is physically challenging. 1700hrs  Check in to hotel and free at leisure. 1900hrs  Malaysian dinner at the floating cafe followed by NITE JUNGLE WALK . Join the nature guide in the “hunt” for mouse deer, insects, spiders etc.  Climb an observation hide to watch nocturnal animals come for their salt intake  at the man-made salt lake. 2200hrs  Good nite and the Forest Orchestra plays on….

Day 02 (B L )  TAMAN NEGARA – KUALA LUMPUR 

0900hrs  After breakfast depart for the Elephant Conservation Center for an interraction. Our elephants are an endangered species and the center is a facility for rogue and orphaned elephants. 1200hrs  Lunch followed by video show on catch and trans location deeper into Taman Negara.  We continue on to Kuala Lumpur, enroute bonus stop at the iconic Batu Caves to climb 272 steps into the temple of Hindu deity Lord Subramaniam who is honored during the Hindu festival of Thaipusam  every year. Ladies to be properly attired to enter the temple.  Return transfer to your hotel. End of program.
